Question: What experience does TEC Projects have in the handling of bitumens and fuels?
Answer:  TEC have a wealth of site management experience, gained from supervising construction, installation, and commissioning activities around the world.  Click on the picture links on the right for examples.

Question: What information do you need me to provide to enable TEC Projects to supply an initial quotation for my proposed project?
Answer:

  1. Storage capacity of facility required?
  2. Size of land available for the facility?
  3. Availability of mains power  and what voltage?
  4. Do you require a manual or automated facility?
  5. What is the local delivery method (tanker /container delivery,  sea tanker etc)
  6. Location for shipping and local infrastructure around proposed site.

Question: How quickly can a storage facility be installed?
Answer: Most facilities are complete and ready for commissioning within 6 months

Question: Can I link Bitutainers™ together easily?
Answer:  Yes, a simple pipework manifold and valves with trace-heating can link tanks together

Question: Can TEC supply heating and handling equipment?
Answer:  Yes, TEC can supply equipment required for all aspects of the project.

Question: What foundations and ground-works are required?
Answer:  Level and compacted ground is adequate, but we recommend aligning the tanks on concrete or steel ‘H’ beams as this allows for improved drainage
 
Question: Can I add to the size of a facility or relocate it in the future?
Answer: Yes, the concept of using tanks linked together instead of one large static tank allows for expansion by joining further tanks to existing units or dismantling the whole facility and relocating it as required
